Paul Sidhu has always had a passion for film. Throughout his life, education and career, he dreamed of bringing unique characters to life on the Big Screen. With degrees from University of Washington and Tulane University in New Orleans, Sidhu moved to the West Coast to attend the University of Southern California for further education in an effort to be in close proximity to the film industry.
Sidhu has been described by members of the press as an action star in the mold of Tom Cruise and Jason Statham. He recently followed in the footsteps of action legend Sylvester Stallone when he produced his first feature film, “Aakhari Decision,” in which he wrote the treatment and starred (credited as Amar Sidhu). Feeling quite fortunate for his Bollywood success from the film, Sidhu went on to produce, co-direct and star in the action conspiracy thriller “The Black Russian,” which focuses on the drug trade in India. In the summer of 2014, the independent film, which was shot in Los Angeles and India, premiered at the Action on Film Festival in Monrovia, California. Sidhu’s third and most ambitious feature, “Winter’s Dream,” is slated for release in 2015.
